Information We Gather
Information gathered by web401k from plan sponsors and/or eligible employees assists web401k in providing
defined contribution plan administrative services. Any information provided to us is for our use only.
In order to furnish the plan sponsor and you with the appropriate level of service, we may provide, under
strict confidence, and with plan sponsor approval, plan and/or participant information to those entities
that assist in servicing and/or administrating your plan. Any activity on any of the web401k Web sites
will not result in the plan sponsor, or a plan participant, being added to a mailing list, unless web401k
is specifically requested to do so. we will not sell any information you provide to us on any of our electronic
forms to a third party.
web401k collects information on both the company sponsoring the defined contribution plan, and eligible employees.
Upon contracting with us, the plan sponsor will provide the name of the company, an employer identification number,
and all pertenant details on the company's existing retirement plans. If you are an eligible employee and/or participant
in an employer sponsored plan, your employer will provide web401k with information about you. This information will include:
your name, social security number, address, annual income, dates of birth and hire, and other relevant plan information.
Cookies
Web401k uses cookies for several purposes, including session management and to make site navigation easier and more convenient to you. These non-persistent cookies are session specific and expire at the end of your session when you logout or close your browser.
We also may use permanent cookies to verify browser compatibility. No sensitive, personal, or private information is stored on either a session or permanent cookie.
Information Sharing
Web401k does not provide your Personally Identifiable Information to any third party. If you are an eligible employee and/or participant in an employer sponsored plan, your employer may request, under the stricted confidence, web401k to provide plan and/or participant information to interested third parties that assist in servicing and/or administrating your plan.
Log Files
Like most standard Web site servers we use log files. This includes internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, internet service provider (ISP), and date/time stamp to analyze trends, administer the site, track user's movement in the aggregate, and gather broad demographic information for aggregate use. IP addresses, etc. are not linked to personally identifiable information. In addition, log files are used to track activity each time you submit a request to our site to change or modify your plan specific information. We use this information to assist us in providing you with services relevant ot your participation in your plan.

We encourage our users to be aware when they leave our site and to read the privacy statements of each and every Web site that collects personally identifiable information. This privacy statement applies solely to information collected by this Web site.
Clear Gifs
We employ a software technology called clear gifs (a.k.a. Web Beacons/Web Bugs), that help us track overall usage on our site. Clear gifs are tiny graphics with a unique identifier, similar in function to cookies, and are used to track the online movements of Web users. The main difference between the two is that clear gifs are invisible on the page and are much smaller, about the size of the period at the end of this sentence. Clear gifs are not tied to users' personally identifiable information.
Notification Of Changes
If we decide to change our privacy policy, we will post those changes to this privacy statement, the homepage, and other places we deem appropriate so plan sponsors and plan participants are always aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances, if any, we disclose it. If the policy change affects your Personally Identifiable Information, we will notify users by posting a notice on our Web site for 30 days prior to the implementation of a new policy. The notification will include an option to opt-out of this information usage by the submission of an email to optout@web401k.com.
Updating Or Modifying Personal/Plan Information
Only authorized representatives of the plan sponsor can update or modify any plan or employee information.
Security
web401k operates secure data networks protected by industry standard firewalls and password protected systems. Access to plan information is restricted to authorized representatives of web401k. Authorized representatives of the plan sponsor may also have access to plan information and participant data you provide to us.
